About Our Client
The Hong Kong Jockey Club's IT Division is a diverse community of over 1,500 dedicated professionals who design, build, and operate technology that powers world‑class hospitality, racing, and wagering operations. The Cyber Security Department serves as the first line of defense, implementing strong risk governance frameworks and cybersecurity standards to protect against emerging threats while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and China.
What you'll be doing?
Data Protection Innovation:
Drive continuous improvement in data protection practices through innovative solutions and automation initiatives.
DLP Policy Management:
Maintain and manage comprehensive Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across multiple channels.
Certificate Management Excellence:
Maintain and optimize automated certificate management tools while integrating them with enterprise platforms.
SaaS Security Administration:
Secure Software‑as‑a‑Service applications through effective utilization of Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions.
Access Control Management:
Manage and enforce USB access policies and removable media usage controls.
Data Classification Leadership:
Support, contribute to, and implement data classification and labeling initiatives.
Security Analysis & Recommendations:
Analyze business needs and provide strategic recommendations on technical security implementations.
Security Engineering Support:
Advise the information security engineering team on detection gaps and security control coverage.
Incident Response Coordination:
Monitor and respond to data security incidents effectively, coordinating with incident response teams.
Team Leadership & Development:
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data security engineers and analysts.
Who are they looking for?
Educational Background:
Candidates with University degree qualifications in Information Technology, cybersecurity, application development, or networking.
Data Security Expertise:
Professionals with hands‑on experience in data security technologies including encryption and access controls.
DLP Specialization:
Deep understanding of Data Loss Prevention across all data exfiltration vectors.
Cloud Security Knowledge:
Familiarity with cloud security principles and hybrid environment management.
CASB & Classification Experience:
Experience implementing Cloud Access Security Broker solutions and data classification tools.
Business-Technical Translation:
Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical security controls.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
Certificate Management Skills:
Comprehensive experience with certificate lifecycle management.
Public Cloud Expertise:
Working knowledge of security features and configurations in public cloud ecosystems.
