They are currently seeking a talented professional to join their Insurance Audit team in Hong Kong.

Service Line Overview
The Insurance line of business offers considerable opportunities as clients expand their operations both within Hong Kong and globally. This is a challenging and highly competitive marketplace that demands top talent.
Responsibilities
" Audit financial statements and group reporting packages in various GAAP standards, including HKFRS, IFRS, and US GAAP
" Work on assurance engagements including review engagements, SOX engagements, agreed-upon-procedure engagements, and engagements related to reporting for initial public offerings
" Supervise engagement field teams, complete performance reviews, and provide on-site training
" Act as the audit in-charge for clients, perform briefings, and lead teams to deliver audits
" Maintain regular communication with line managers, partners, and clients regarding issues and engagement progress
Experience Required
" Qualified accountant with at least 5 years of insurance audit experience within a major firm preferred
" Must have knowledge of Life Insurance financial reporting basis, e.g., IFRS 17
" Strong business awareness and ability to identify audit issues arising from commercial transactions
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage but not essential
" Team player with the ability to multi-task, high adaptability, and work well under pressure
" Socially confident with good diplomacy and organisational skills
