AI & Devops Engineer

Job Description

• AI:
• Design, build, and implement AI chatbot and AI agent systems capable of handling user inquiries, analyzing market data, and generating insights for portfolio optimization, with integrated risk management controls.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define AI models, and iterate on prototypes in a fast-paced financial environment.
• Integrate AI solutions with secure data pipelines, APIs, and databases, ensuring compliance with financial regulations (e.g., SEC guidelines, GDPR, and data privacy standards).
• Perform comprehensive testing, debugging, and performance tuning of AI models to support high-volume data processing and real-time workloads.
• Monitor and maintain production AI systems, delivering continuous improvements based on user feedback and evolving market conditions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including architecture, code, and operational processes, to support knowledge transfer and scalability.
• Keep up to date with the latest AI technologies and apply them to develop innovative solutions that provide competitive advantage to the firm.

• DevOps
• Maintain and enhance existing CI/CD platforms and tools, including GitLab, GitLab Runner/Jenkins, JFrog/Nexus, Ansible, and related systems.
• Design, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications across development, testing, and production environments.
• Develop standardized CI/CD templates and reusable modules to improve development efficiency and consistency.
• Integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD workflows.
• Implement automated deployment pipelines for Kubernetes, virtual machines, and cloud environments.
• Establish release automation and support end-to-end release management processes.
• Work closely with developers, QA, SRE, and platform teams to promote DevOps best practices.
• Ensure CI/CD processes comply with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously improve developer experience by reducing build times, failure rates, and manual operational effort.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in application development and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience in AI/ML development, with a proven track record in building chatbots (e.g., Rasa, Dialogflow) and AI agents (e.g., Dify, n8n, reinforcement learning–based decision systems).
• Proficiency in Python, with practical experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, and scikit-learn.
• Strong knowledge of NLP, machine learning algorithms, agent-based systems, and large language models (LLMs).
• Proficient in automation using Shell scripting, Windows batch, and Python.
• Experience with Maven, Gradle, GitLab, and related build and version control tools.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployment platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and continuous-learning mindset.
• A collaborative team player able to communicate effectively with fast-paced business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
