R&D Software Engineer (full-time)

Key tasks

Research and develop out of each core technology applicable solutions for the specific

requirements and integration in outdoor usage to provide (online and offline) precise

location, safety tracking, navigation and orientation guidance and performance data for the user of our platform.

The specific tasks are
• Build a geofencing mapping solution (online and offline) to provide safety status
• Provide turn-by-turn navigation instructions on given courses
• Integration of RFID for precise timing at critical locations
• Provide deep data information to be used for machine learning and performance

analytics

Outcomes

High-quality mobile App/Web/platform solutions (stability, usability, functionality)

System and architecture documentation

Knowledge
• Geofencing and GPS technology
• BLE and IoT Beacon technology
• RFID technology
• iOS and android OS mobile development, ideally with location based and geofencing

knowledge.

• Development in VUE framework, Swift, Kotlin, ReactJS, NodeJS
• AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, ..)
• Usage of GitLab
• Mapbox

Other Requirements
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (MANDATORY) – related to Science, Technology,

Engineering and Mathematics
