Job Description:
Design and oversee building service systems within the data center to ensure reliability and compliance.
Manage electrical infrastructure including power distribution, switchgear, and backup systems.
Operate and maintain UPS systems, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for critical operations.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Prepare technical documentation and compliance reports for audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, IT, facilities) to integrate electrical services seamlessly.
Support capacity planning and system upgrades to meet future data center demands.
Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Registered Electrical Worker (REW) certification B0–C0 (mandatory).
Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience in data centers.
Proven expertise in UPS systems: installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of data center electrical standards and building services codes.
Ability to prepare technical documentation and compliance reports.
Excellent problem-solving skills in high-availability environments.
Proficiency with electrical design software and documentation tools.
Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
