Backend Engineer (Java / Spring Boot)

We’re hiring a Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience to build reliable and scalable backend systems for a gaming, fintech, and prediction platform.

Responsibilities (Work location: Lai Chi Kok)

• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs

• ⁠Implement business logic for accounts, wallets, transactions, settlements, rewards, and prediction flows

• Design and optimize database schemas and queries

• Integrate with third-party services and external APIs

• ⁠Improve backend performance, reliability, and scalability

• Write clean and testable code

• Work closely with frontend, QA, product, and DevOps teams

• Support bug fixing and ongoing backend improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot

• ⁠Solid REST API design experience

• ⁠Strong SQL and database design skills

• Experience with JPA / Hibernate

• Familiarity with authentication and secure backend practices

• Experience with unit and integration testing

• ⁠Experience in gaming, fintech, payments, trading, or transactional platforms is a plus
