Senior Operations Manager – E-commerce Logistics

As Senior Operations Manager – E-commerce Logistics, you will be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of e-commerce logistics operations from strategy development through execution.

Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies aimed at achieving sales growth, profitability, and enhanced customer satisfaction across all platforms.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers by negotiating contracts, monitoring service levels, and ensuring optimal performance.
• Oversee daily operations for the company’s e-commerce platforms, coordinating end-to-end logistics activities to guarantee smooth workflow.
• Conduct regular performance analysis using real-time data to optimise strategies and drive scalable growth in diverse markets.
• Drive operational efficiency by identifying areas for improvement, streamlining processes, and maximising productivity and profitability.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to proactively identify new market opportunities for expansion.
• Analyse logistics data to uncover improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency while reducing costs.
• Ensure accurate order fulfilment and timely delivery by handling logistics exceptions and resolving customer complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Coordinate solutions for daily operational issues to support customer retention and revenue growth through responsive problem-solving.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects while actively managing the sales cycle to achieve business objectives.
• Provide detailed reports on sales activities and performance metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
• Handle ad hoc duties assigned by management with flexibility and commitment.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is required.
• At least 8 years of experience in e-commerce logistics or a closely related discipline is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience overseeing teams within logistics operations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cross-border e-commerce logistics processes as well as international shipping regulations is necessary.
• Proficiency in managing e-commerce logistics operations including Warehouse Management Systems and order management processes is expected.
• Exceptional communication skills, negotiation abilities, and presentation skills are needed.
• A detail‑oriented approach combined with self‑motivation ensures accuracy in order fulfilment and process optimisation.
• Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin is required.
