SAP FICO Consultant / Specialist

Overview

Our client is a multinational company and they are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Specialist (SAP FICO) to drive a multi‑market finance transformation programme. This role combines finance process ownership with deep SAP FICO configuration and integration experience, working closely with global and local stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Lead analysis and documentation of end‑to‑end finance processes across markets, balancing global standards with local needs and acting as key bridge between business and project teams.
• Translate requirements into high‑quality functional specifications, conduct fit‑gap analysis, and drive solution design and configuration for SAP FICO and related modules (MM, SD, PS).
• Configure and support core SAP FICO areas (GL, AP, AR, AA, BA, PS), including integrations with procure‑to‑pay and order‑to‑cash processes.
• Plan, prepare and execute testing, including test scenarios and data, and manage issue analysis and resolution to ensure high‑quality go‑lives.
• Manage requirements, user stories and documentation, while providing ongoing support and maintenance to existing systems during transition.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional/global teams, and support change management and training to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years in SAP implementation with hands‑on SAP FICO (GL, AP, AR, AA, BA, PS) and integration with MM/SD is highly preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA brownfield conversions, plus strong skills in requirements gathering, process design, fit‑gap analysis and functional specification writing.
• Solid testing experience with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery and tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Multi‑tasking, make sound decisions and work as a proactive team player.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication skills (Mandarin is a plus).
