Functional Business Analyst (Domain in Capital Markets)

We are seeking a highly motivated Front Office Business Analyst with good knowledge & experience on capital market, financial products and derivatives to service our client, a top investment bank in Bangkok, Thailand. As a Front Office Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Front Office users. In this role, you will gather and analyse business requirements, document the functional specification, liaise the requirements with development team, perform testing and support Front Office users' validation, and work closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle from scoping to go-live. You will play a key role in driving high-quality results and ensuring that business objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
• Analyse business processes and functional requirements, perform gap analysis between existing and required solution to drive the delivery of relevant user requirements documentation.
• Liaise with customers to scope, gather, review, and implement their Front Office Business/ functional requirements.
• Work with the users to test, achieve signoff (UAT), and move the system toward go-live.
• Closely work with the Stream Lead to manage customer expectations on timelines.
• Support clients with the development of their own internal project plan, including the identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, timeline, etc.
• Responsible for training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc.
• Assist in system integration, data migration and implementation.
Qualifications
• Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantitative Finance, Applied Finance, Financial Engineering, Business Analytics or equivalent fields.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience working within the Capital Markets industry.
• Fresh graduates are very welcomed to apply.
• Sound knowledge & functional experience on at least 2 asset classes, e.g. Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Interest Rate derivatives.
• Experience in the implementation or support of a Front Office System within a bank.
• Able to work in a team environment, focused on providing high quality of service to the client.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to handle priorities and manage business expectations.
• Strong and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills.
• Keen interest in financial markets. Working knowledge of financial products is a plus.
• Good command of spoken & written English.
