Data Engineer – AI & Microsoft Platforms

Key Responsibilities
• Extract and integrate data from multiple Microsoft systems , including:
• SQL Server / Azure SQL
• Dynamics 365
• SharePoint
• Dataverse
• Excel and Power BI datasets
• Design and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft tools such as:
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Synapse
• Azure Functions or Logic Apps
• Work with business stakeholders to understand what the data represents and how it should be used
• Clean, validate, and transform data to ensure high quality and consistency
• Prepare data in AI-ready formats , including:
• Structured data (CSV, Parquet, tables)
• JSON for APIs and AI services
• Text datasets for LLM-based solutions
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and quality issues and recommend solutions
• Ensure data is properly documented and traceable across systems
• Support AI teams by ensuring the right data is available in the right format

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience working within the Microsoft data ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with:
• SQL Server / Azure SQL
• Azure Data Factory or similar ETL tools
• Data integration across multiple systems
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills
• Experience preparing data for analytics, reporting, or AI use cases
• Ability to understand business data and translate it into technical structures
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data
• Familiarity with cloud-based data pipelines (Azure preferred)
