What You Will Achieve
In this permanent role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for the day-to-day operations of the membership database (CRM) and affiliated systems for both the Hong Kong and Indonesia markets. You will be instrumental in maintaining data integrity, streamlining processes, and providing critical analytical support. Your work will directly empower the fundraising and marketing teams, helping to build stronger relationships with supporters. You will also play a key role in system development and migration projects, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• System Management: Oversee daily operations of the CRM and affiliated systems for Hong Kong and Indonesia, including workflow management, troubleshooting with vendors, and participating in system development and migration projects.
• Data Management: Ensure high-quality data through regular cleansing, synchronization, and coding adjustments. Manage data imports/exports and maintain the data warehouse.
• Reporting & Analysis: Design, develop, and maintain regular reports and interactive dashboards (e.g., PowerBI) for internal stakeholders. Prepare weekly/monthly operational reports, revenue reconciliation files, and marketing lists.
• Process Improvement: Lead and participate in enhancement and automation projects to improve the efficiency of report generation and data management. Support fundraising and financial business process improvements.
• Operational Support: Process daily bank payments and reconciliations. Query the membership database to answer ad-hoc questions and prepare data for in-market tests.
• Documentation & Training: Establish technical guidelines for digital sign-ups, bank processing, and data handling. Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for user roles, system troubleshooting, and other technical requirements. Assist with user training as needed.
• Project Support: Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for CRM upgrades, new market integrations, and data structure reviews.
What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications):
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with CRM or loyalty program system development and improvement.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (PowerQuery, Pivot Tables, Lookups) and SQL (CTEs, Sub-Queries, Complex Joins) to support reporting, data cleansing, and reconciliation.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
• Experience manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data for diverse audiences.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
Desired Qualifications (A Plus):
• Experience working in a global organization or a multi-national NGO.
• Two or more years of experience with specific CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud).
• Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) and tools (e.g., Jira).
• Experience handling payment gateways and bank data processing.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
• Database management experience (e.g., SQL server, Oracle).
• Multi-lingual skills and cross-cultural experience.
• A passion for conservation and the mission of the organization.
