Security Officer - Access Control Specialist

Job Overview

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and patrons.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out access control, crowd control, and patrolling of the Club's premises
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV and alarm systems
• Participate in sampling operations for horses and humans
• Respond to alarms and incidents, and provide related incident information
• Carry out applicable firefighting and first aid during incidents
• Perform related duties during race meetings and other events
Requirements
• Tertiary education preferred
• Minimum 1 year relevant working experience
• Basic knowledge of operating security systems
• Basic report writing skills
• Availability to work day and night shifts, including Sundays and holidays
• Valid Security Personnel Permit with Category Code B
• Valid Hong Kong driving license (Code No. 1 & 2 preferred)
• First Aid Certification preferred
Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
