Responsibilities
• Develop and enhance real-time trading and risk management applications, working closely with traders, researchers, and operations teams
• Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end system testing, to ensure system reliability, scalability, and optimal capacity
• Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and implement effective solutions and continuous improvements

Required Technical Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of five years’ experience developing trading strategies
• Strong understanding of trading infrastructure, including OMS, EMS, and algorithmic trading systems
• Proven expertise in C# development, with a demonstrated track record of building high-performance, resilient, and distributed production systems
• Experience with multi-threaded programming and handling large volumes of real-time market data
• Hands-on experience using profiling and performance tuning tools to optimise system throughput and minimise latency
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure and technologies, including Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Python for scripting and automation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex system issues in high-pressure environments
• Product knowledge across equities, derivatives, fixed income, and other asset classes
• Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
