We are looking for an Application Solution Architect to design modern, scalable, and resilient digital systems that power business growth.

Job Duties:
Translate technology strategy into solution architecture designs with enterprise and solution architects.
Support adoption of target architectures: API‑first microservices, event‑driven, cloud‑first, data lakehouse.
Promote software engineering excellence, design principles, and best practices.
Provide technical leadership, training, and guidance to development teams.
Build and enhance common tooling, application frameworks, and backend frameworks.
Lead POCs, including Generative AI initiatives; manage vendor discussions.
Oversee offshore team, ensuring standards, governance, and code quality.
Support modernization of underwriting, policy admin, claims systems, call center integration, and legacy backend upgrades.

Requirements:
3+ years in solution or application architecture; 2+ years in insurance strongly preferred.
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Deep expertise in microservices, event-driven design, containerization, and cloud platforms (Azure experience a plus).
Strong coding skills in Java, Node.js, or React with a passion for clean, testable, API-first code.
Proven experience with Agile/Scrum, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and system lifecycle management.
Excellent communication in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin - able to explain complex tech simply.
A growth mindset, love for problem-solving, and comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
