Responsibilities:
1. E-commerce Platform Development
• Design and maintain house-brand e-commerce websites (front-end and back-end).
• Build responsive, mobile-first interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
• Manage server-side logic, databases, and APIs for product catalog, pricing, and order management.
• Integrate payment gateways, logistics partners, and third-party services.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize speed and SEO.
2. CRM and Customer Data Systems
• Collaborate with Marketing and Brand teams to develop CRM tools (dashboards, campaign modules).
• Integrate e-commerce platforms with CRM/marketing automation tools (email, SMS).
• Build and maintain data flows for user profiles, tagging, and engagement to support analytics.
• Create reports for tracking user acquisition and campaign performance.
• Ensure data protection and security across CRM applications.
3. New Digital Projects and Internal Tools
• Lead development of new digital initiatives (microsites, internal portals, B2B platforms).
• Create lightweight web applications for campaigns and events.
• Support app-related development by building APIs and web backends.
• Develop internal monitoring tools for project status and KPIs.
4. Project Management and Collaboration
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Work with UI/UX designers and vendors to maintain brand consistency.
• Manage development sprints and ensure timely project delivery.
• Provide ongoing technical support and improvement for existing systems.
Requirements:
• Minimum with 3–5 years in web development, ideally in e-commerce or retail.
• Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, and a modern framework (React, Vue, Angular).
• Back-end experience in languages/frameworks , PHP, Python, etc.) and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational/NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with major e-commerce or CMS platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce).
• Understanding of CRM concepts, API integrations, and marketing automation.
• Proficient in Git and modern workflows; CI/CD experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of app development lifecycle and web backends.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, able to propose pragmatic technical solutions within business and budget constraints.
• Comfortable working directly with non‑technical stakeholders and explaining technical topics in simple language.
• Self‑motivated, organised, able to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
• Good command of written and spoken English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin a plus for working with local and Mainland China partners
