Job Purpose:
The Trainee - Account Management will primarily take care of smaller GSI accounts and will ensure The Management trainee will gain product knowledge and be under the supervision and support of the National Account Manager and/or the National Sales Manager, thereby positioning the Company as a brand in the market.
Responsibilities:
• Undergo trainings and certifications assigned department (10%)
• Supporting the Primary or National Account Manager for liaising with Key accounts (40%)
• Working on individual contribution through GSI smaller accounts (30%)
• Operational excellence - pipeline management, forecasting & inventory management. Execution - Credit management, Order processing, AR Collections (20%)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree with Graduate field of study required.
• Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
• Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
• Able to converse and write effectively in English and Spanish.
• Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
• Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.
• Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.
• Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
• Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
• Able to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.
• Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.
• Able to use relevant computer system applications at a basic level.
Working Conditions:
• Distribution center environment may include exposure to extreme temperatures; high noise levels; high places; wet and/or humid conditions; and outside weather conditions.
• Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
• On-call availability required as necessary.
• Professional, office environment.
• Some travel required.
