What you'll be doing -

This is a group-level role that will manage and develop the overall social media strategy (including KOL/influencer strategy) for the Plaza Premium Group family of brands. We are looking for a great team player with a creative streak who loves storytelling and developing compelling content to deliver on business objectives.

The social media manager is responsible to grow, cultivate, and engage our social community/channels. You will brainstorm campaigns with the team, create and execute campaigns, and manage the Group’s social media accounts. You will set the KPIs, objectives, key results, and evaluate the performance of campaigns (organic and paid), including conducting market research, for continual improvements.

The right candidate will work closely with the local/regional marketing teams and designers to drive campaigns and develop content. You should have a proven track record in growing social community size, creating engaging content, and improving KPIs and business results. You have a global mindset, with a strong understanding of local requirements to set standards and guidelines to fulfil the needs of the Group’s various markets. You need to be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-cultural environment.
• Develop strategies and campaigns, and managing social media accounts.
• Analyze performance and growth, research industry innovations, trends, and tools, and prepare/share reports and insights.
• Develop and maintain global social content plans (proactive and reactive) and calendar for Plaza Premium Group of brands, including Plaza Premium Lounge, Aerotel, ALLWAYS, Airport Dining, and Smart Traveller.
• Produce and manage consistent, creative, and captivating content (posts and videos), including writing and editing. Hands-on content creation ability is required.
• Aggressively grow the Group’s social community.
• Set KPIs, objectives, performance measurement metrics, tracking, and reports structure.
• Manage paid social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, follower base, and engagement, leveraging best practices, targeting strategies, and KOL/influencer partnerships.
• Utilize social media management tools to efficiently manage multiple accounts, schedule content, and analyze performance .
• Prepare reports on social media marketing efforts, including analytics and insights, and make recommendations/ adjust strategies for optimal results.
• Work closely with the customer service team to oversee community management. Monitor social sentiment and handle social crisis.
• Develop social user manual, workflows, etc., and provide training on social media execution.

What you'll need -
• Degree holder in Communications, Marketing or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a similar capacity with a focus on managing multiple brands/accounts in the hospitality or aviation industry.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies across platforms, including KOL and influencer partnerships.
• Solid experience in managing paid social media campaigns on different platforms, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & WeChat, optimizing targeting, and analyzing campaign performance, including ROI considerations.
• Data and results-driven, resourceful team leader and individual.
• Proficiency in using social media management tools. Strong knowledge of social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in communicating with people from different cultures and at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent project management and time management.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Proficiency in Chinese and other languages is beneficial.
