Act as technical solutions lead, focus on solutions generation with Digital Security Solutions portfolio including Data Protection Solutions (DPS) - Entrust nShield products and services, who works closely with the Sales team to identity market trends and opportunities in assigned Region, and acting as technical solution lead for Greater China territory.

Responsibilities:

Assist Sales Team to generate sales pipeline and close off opportunities to attain sales target.

Collaborate with entire Entrust Digital Security team (Marketing, Operations, Sales Development…) and Entrust Digital Security o provide insights, examples, and demonstrate nShield solutions to CIOs, CTOs, prospects, existing customers and partners.

Create topics and deliver presentations at industry conferences, seminars, marketing events, and other marketing events organized by partners.

Answer customer query on the proposed solutions and Entrust Digital Security products & solutions, and discover customer functional requirements and pain points on data security.

Provide enlightening technical advice to customers, introduce security best practice to help customers solve their business problems, and outline roadmaps to customers’ success with DPS/Entrust nShield solutions.

Technical thought leadership

Engage and lead Proof of Concepts, prepare solution architectures, and produce technical proposals for RFP response and customer project in the region.

Develop a custom/regional driven solution which covered regional customer requirement and demand in matching company direction and solution roadmap & strategy.

Build technical enablement plans, leverage partner resources, conduct technical workshops and trainings for partners and customers.

Gather on-going prospect/customer feedback and related information. Provide sound and valid response to prospect/customers by working with entire DPS team.

Maintain market exposure through social media and other media channel as spokeperson.

Deliver remote and field-based product installations (in absence of Professional Services team), problem resolution and technical know-how on product integration.

Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge on Entrust nShield product.

Contribute and sharing of demos and technical know-how to the Technical Sales Consulting community.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent, any additional business-related education would be a plus. Demonstrable experience in the IT field, ideally IT Security, working within a Pre-Sales, Consultancy or Technical Support role.

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in technology pre-sales role, partnering with sales team on technological support of high value customer focused solutions centred on IT Systems / Security.

Outgoing character and well experienced in public speaking in the region. Excellent Communications skills (Written and Verbal).

The ideal candidate would have at least some previous exposure to one or more areas in Hardware Security Modules, PKI, Windows and Unix Operating Systems and networking. Entrust leadership qualities: Collaborative, innovative, and agile, as customer focused.

The candidate must have an understanding of the software development process, cryptographic APIs and languages such as PKCS#11, Java and C for leading the General Purpose HSM product domain.

Sound experience and domain knowledge of cryptographic technologies inclusive of encryption solutions (such PKI, digital signing, blockchain etc.)

Strong commercial awareness, persuasive and strategic minds in addition to a technical background.

The CISSP or MCSE qualifications would be useful for this role. The candidate should have gained these certifications, or be keen to do so.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in the IT security industry involving hardware and/or software presales.

Native Cantonese, Mandarin speaking.

Data Protection, encryption/cryptography experience is highly desirable.

Has the ability to demonstrate creative thinking
