[Position Overview]:

We are looking for a Data Scientist / AI Algorithm Engineer with strong expertise in computer vision and deep learning to join our AI team. As a Data Scientist at Motherapp Limited, you will work on projects about smart factory and smart city, and tackle a diverse range of challenges. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for real-world applications such as object detection, segmentation, tracking, and video understanding. You will work closely with product, engineering, and research teams to bring cutting-edge vision models from prototype to production.

[Key Responsibilities]:
• Research, design, and implement deep learning models for vision solutions.
• Develop and optimize computer vision pipelines for image and video data, including preprocessing, inference, and post-processing.
• Collaborate with deployment and software engineers to integrate models into scalable, low-latency systems.
• Collaborate with area expert to define the scoping of each projects / functions.
• Collect, annotate, and curate large-scale image/video datasets; design data augmentation and active learning strategies.
• Benchmark and evaluate model performance; conduct ablation studies and drive improvements in accuracy, speed, and robustness.
• Stay up to date with the latest advances in computer vision and deep learning, and apply them to solve business problems.
• Share technical knowledge with team members.

[Qualifications]:
• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience with computer vision methods (e.g., YOLO, SAM, diffusion model, SORT) and related frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++ and familiarity with relevant libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
• Experience with image/video processing libraries (e.g., OpenCV, FFmpeg).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

[Bonus Qualifications]:
• Familiarity with Computer Graphics related works and libraries. (OpenGL, OpenCL...)
• Familiarity with LLM and VLM.
• Familiarity with the AI agent framework.
• Familiarity with MLOps, model monitoring, and pipeline automation.
• Background in smart factory, smart city, or industrial AI use cases.
• Contributions to open-source vision projects.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 applications.
