APAC Cloud Strategy & Delivery Lead (Investment Banking)

About the Role

We're helping a leading global investment bank hire an APAC Cloud Lead to drive their cloud migration and DevSecOps transformation across the region.

This role blends strategy, hands-on technical delivery, and stakeholder engagement—working closely with the APAC CIO and global teams to build cloud-native solutions in a regulated financial environment.

What You'll Do
• Define and execute the APAC cloud strategy, aligned with global Move-To-Cloud goals and regulatory requirements
• Own the migration roadmap for legacy workloads to cloud environments
• Lead hands-on cloud deployments—compute, storage, networking, and security
• Embed DevSecOps into the software development lifecycle (CI/CD, automation, security)
• Partner with engineers, architects, and vendors to deliver projects on time
• Track performance and cost optimization (DORA metrics, rightsizing, automated shutdowns)
• Communicate roadmaps and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure all cloud services comply with financial industry regulations

What You'll Bring
• 10+ years in DevOps and cloud engineering, with 5+ years in leadership
• Strong track record in cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps platform design
• Hands-on experience with: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible, Terraform and Microservice architecture
• Solid understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and serverless
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English required; Mandarin and Cantonese preferred
