Our Sustainability Department in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong is looking for a Sustainability Data Analyst
Your Responsibilities:
• Support sustainability data collection from various segments across Triumph’s value chain, including our own Production Centers, Sales, Logistics, and third-party vendors.
• Play a pivotal role in quantifying our environmental footprint. This entails consolidating and analyzing data to measure the climate and other ecological impacts, tracking progress against our organizational, material, and product goals, and helping the global sustainability team in preparing for upcoming voluntary and regulatory disclosures.
• Compile and analyze data to map corporate scope 3 carbon impacts and formulate projections for production, supply chain, and logistics teams to mitigate impacts in line with our science-based targets.
• Collaborate with the PLM team and material development team to identify opportunities to increase data support for scope 3 assessments and reporting.
• Prepare data visualization for internal and external meetings.
• Administer data management, file organization, and systematic support to centralize data in preparation or GHG emission inventory verification and assurance.
Your ideal profile:
• Strong analytics skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel is required, with a demonstrated ability to manipulate data through complex formulas and pivot tables. Experience in using Power BI is preferred.
• Good research skills: Ability to conduct research across a spectrum of sustainability issues, respond to specific inquiries, proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing programs, and suggest new initiatives in sync with industry trends.
• Proficient presentation skills: Competence in creating PowerPoint presentations from clear directives and presenting the materials with confidence.
• Familiarity with topics like energy efficiency, water conservation, biodiversity, and waste management is an advantage.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduate will be considered for a junior position.
• Field of specialization: sustainability, economics, environmental studies, management information systems, engineering, finance, or similar field.
• Excellent written and spoken of both English and Chinese is essential for effective cross-functional collaboration within the organization and with external consultants.
• A self-driven individual with a proactive approach, capable to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaborative teamwork.
• A problem-solving mindset with attention to details.
