Job title: Project Coordinator Duration and contract type: 12-month contractor. Full time preferred, can be negotiated to part-time but 4 days per week are needed Business/Region: Pernod Ricard Travel Retail Asia Line Manager: Project & Procurement Manager Location: Hong Kong Position Summary The Project Coordinator will work across all Asian markets on specific global brands by supporting Project & Procurement managers covering full project pipeline and driving the implementation of Best in Class promotional & permanent merchandising projects: Support the development of Market Specific Retail Space Adaptions, Utilize Global Guidelines across all retail formats including Activation & Permanent visibility Project Management of the full project cycle – including tender, quotation, supplier & Budget management, Installation Supplier Management – work closely with regional supplier base to ensure S&R & QR compliance. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities 1. Retail Design - Strong Understanding of Retail Design Fundamentals & Process Understanding of design process – with strong ability in adaption of global guidelines Focus on delivering impact in store within business constraints of timelines, budgets and environmental restriction. 2. Project management - Ability to plan and organize multiple projects at any given time, achieving objectives in time Assist in planning, organizing, executing and delivering projects on time and within budget. Handle logistics and provide administrative support for efficient project management, such as handling reports, material check, filing system and meeting schedules. Handle enquiries from Internal/External (Marketing team/Landlord) and undertake on-site duties. Assist in managing design briefing from Business Unit and quotation from Contractor Engage stakeholders around the project and get their buy-in: communication and promotion of the project within organizational culture Perform ad hoc projects as assigned. Key Relationships Internal: Retail Design team including Asia Hub in Hong Kong, and Global Design Team in London Asia Business Unit Stakeholders, in particular with BU Marketing & Commercial Teams. External: Production Suppliers, Design Agencies Qualifications Higher Diploma or above in major in business or related disciplines such as industrial/Interior/Retail Design or Visual Merchandising Ideally 1 year-experience minimum in creative retail design of a major brand or design agency Proven project management experience in retail environment Strong interest for design/architecture/arts and applied arts Knowledge of design software and a design background is a plus. Good aesthetic sensibility Good Sketch development skills Attention to detail and ability to work under tight timeline English fluency is a must. Cantonese/Mandarin is preferred. Additional Requirements Must be willing to travel domestic and internationally when needed.
