An
interesting opportunity has arisen that would allow the successful applicant to
join a start-up to help deliver the software platform for a new digital asset
securities exchange; focused on an institutional client base. The ideal
applicant will bring previous experience of analyzing and defining requirements
and design specification.

This is
the 1st Business Analyst hire into the software development team in the
Philippines. You will be working alongside a growing dev team of 20 staff
locally and ~15 additionally in the UK. This role is varied. We are seeking
someone with a general all-round skill set that is used to simply getting stuck
in. It is vital you possess good communication skills and are comfortable
dealing with all levels of the business.

Your
key job activities:
• Analyze and define detailed requirements and design specification and scope business requirements, functions, and processes including UAT Plan and acceptance criteria.
• Organize, conduct, and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) with the appropriate project stakeholders.
• Train, coach project team members and user participants to improve the quality and completeness of requirements specifications.
• Establish and maintain tight communication with impacted business functions to ensure a common schedule of activities.
• Influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

Skills:
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in the field of Software Development
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• A results-oriented outlook with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives.
• Ability to partner with other project stakeholders to resolve issues and to mitigate project impacts.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Knowledge of Confluence/JIRA tools.

Desirable:
• Experience analyzing and defining large ERP or Financial IT systems.
• Experience in finance with real time trading systems/market data.
• Experience in working in a regulated financial firm.
• Experienced in working with multinational global teams
