Our client is a market leading luxury lifestyle and sports brand. This is a new role within a new team looking to rapid expand in the APAC and SEA market via eCommerce and digital channels.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute buying strategies that align with our business objectives.
• Implement merchandising plans, including product assortment, allocation, and pricing strategies.
• Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) and assortment plan across all product categories and seasons.
• Support the creation of inventory planning forecasts based on e-commerce sales projections.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
• Facilitate stock transfers, consolidation, and replenishment to ensure efficient allocation of inventory and meet demand requirements.
• Work closely with the e-commerce operations team and market research to assess product performance, gather customer feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement or new product introductions.
• Analyze product performance, including sell-through rates and customer feedback, to inform future buying decisions and merchandising strategies.
• Provide product training to marketplace partners to ensure they are knowledgeable and equipped to effectively promote and sell products.
• Collaborate with the e-commerce operations and campaign teams to develop and implement promotional strategies to drive traffic, increase sales, and average order value (AOV).
• Conduct market research and analysis on Lazada, Shopee, Tiktok, and other marketplaces vs. offline retail to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform buying decisions.
• Conduct pricing analysis and establish competitive pricing strategies to drive sales.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience as an eCom Allocator or in a similar role.
• Experience in developing and executing buying strategies, implementing merchandising plans, and managing inventory for Southeast Asia marketplace channels such as Lazada, Shopee, or Tiktok.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce merchandising principles, including product assortment, allocation, and pricing strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret data, identify patterns and trends, and make data-driven buying and merchandising decisions.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate product assortment, allocation, pricing, and promotional strategies.
• Experience working in Lazada, Shopee, or a Southeast Asia lifestyle apparel brand is a plus.
