Data Center Infrastructure Engineer

Join Amazon Web Services as a technician and take ownership of supporting server and network hardware and software. Adapt to a fast-changing environment and work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Perform office hour duties in data center operations.
• Respond to incidents, following call leader instructions for hands-on support.
• Fix and troubleshoot hardware and software according to process guidelines.
• Maintain proper media operations and capacity landing/decommissioning.
• Manage sites, ensuring operation areas are tidy.
• Learn and develop operation and support processes with innovation and automation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Show interest in computing hardware and operation systems.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Have good attention to details.
• Hold a degree, high diploma, or equivalent qualifications.
• Have up to 1 year of experience in server/network hardware and operation systems maintenance/troubleshooting.
• Have a basic understanding of incident response and prioritization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Major in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Have knowledge of Computer Server Hardware.
• Have knowledge of Linux Operation System.
• Have knowledge of operations, processes, and continuous improvement.
• Be literate in security and customer data protection.
