We are seeking an AI Solution Architect to serve as the company’s AI subject‑matter expert. This role plays a pivotal role in the group’s AI initiatives, from use‑case selection and value sizing to reference architectures, model/tool choices (LLMs, multimodal, ML), orchestration and production operating model. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders, provide technical leadership and architecture oversight, and ensure AI solutions are production‑ready.
This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical foundation in AI/ML and strong software engineering judgment, with proven experience delivering production business applications and integrating AI into enterprise systems. You are comfortable working from ambiguous problems to a clear technical design, and you can communicate tradeoffs across cost, risk, performance, and maintainability.
You will work closely with commercial, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to identify opportunities where AI, analytics, and automation can improve efficiency, decision‑making, and sustainability outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Support executive‑level communication for AI initiatives and translation of business priorities into an AI roadmap, investment cases, and measurable value
• Collaborate with internal business stakeholders, including but not limited to commercial, supply chain, operations, finance, to understand business processes and identify opportunities for AI‑driven or data‑enhanced solutions
• Translate business priorities into a clear AI use‑case pipeline and delivery plan
• Lead solution architecture for AI systems, including agentic workflows (task decomposition, tool/API calling, approvals, human‑in‑the‑loop) and the target production operating model
• Provide technical leadership to development teams (including offshore) to design, implement, integrate, and deliver production‑ready AI solutions—combining LLMs, MLOps tools, and data pipelines into scalable, maintainable systems (e.g., task‑chaining agents and API‑driven workflows for reasoning, planning, and decision support).Visualize and communicate insights clearly to non‑technical audiences, enabling data‑driven decision‑making
• Contribute to the governance and continuous improvement of data quality, model validation, and performance tracking.
• Stay abreast of advances in AI research, orchestration frameworks, and foundation model ecosystems to guide the group’s evolving AI strategy.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics or a related quantitative discipline with a strong AI focus
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in AI/ML, data analytics, software/data engineering (incld. AI integration and agentic solutions), or digital transformation
• Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, model development, and API integration
• Knowledge of AI orchestration and MLOps practices, including data pipeline management, model deployment, and workflow automation
• Exposure to LLMs and foundation models (prompt design, fine‑tuning, API management, or embedded agent systems).
• Understanding of advanced analytics techniques—e.g., regression, clustering, forecasting, reinforcement learning, or optimization.
• Familiarity with security/privacy concepts for AI solutions (access controls, data handling, vendor/tool risk awareness).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with curiosity to learn business processes within the biofuel, energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors
• Ability to lead projects with a hands‑on approach, balancing managerial responsibilities with technical contributions to ensure successful delivery
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin considered a plus.
