Senior Data Scientist (Operational and Machine Learning Research)

Responsibilities:

•Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into mathematical models.

•Develop and apply mathematical optimization techniques to design optimal and near-optimal algorithms for a variety of manufacturing problems.

•Implement and test optimization models and algorithms using appropriate software tools.

•Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that optimization models and algorithms are properly integrated into TCL's manufacturing systems.

Qualifications:

•Master's degree or PhD in applied mathematics, operations research, machine learning, computer science, or other applied science.

•Familiarity with various types of operational research optimization models, including linear programming, mixed-integer programming, and nonlinear programming.

•Experience with developing and implementing optimization models and algorithms in a programming language such as C/C++, C#, Java, or Python.

•Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

•Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
