Videographer / Content Creator (AI Video + Personal Brand)
Minisport is looking for a sharp, reliable Videographer / Content Creator to join our team in Hong Kong.
This is a content-first role. You’ll be filming and editing high-quality video that shows what Minisport actually feels like: energetic classes, great coaches, confident kids, and a premium experience parents trust.
You’ll also support the personal brand of our company leader — helping document the journey and turn it into content (short-form, long-form, and podcast-style formats). If you’re looking for an exciting move that builds real experience, new relationships, and a standout portfolio, this role delivers.
Why Minisport?
• International team: We’re a genuinely international group — and many of our team have moved over from the UK in the last five years.
• Young, energetic, social: You’ll be surrounded by people who work hard, move fast, and enjoy being part of a team.
• Healthy work–life balance: We take performance seriously, but we’re not into burnout culture.
• Real growth story: Minisport is already franchised into Singapore and Taiwan, with further expansion planned throughout 2026/27.
What you’ll do
1) Videography & production
• Capture high-quality footage of Minisport classes, events, and promotional shoots
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio to a consistently professional standard
• Record clean audio (on-location and sit-down pieces) and manage basic sound workflows
• Keep shoots organised: shot lists, schedules, file management, backups
2) Editing & post-production
• Edit content for multiple formats (Reels/Shorts/ verticals, plus YouTube-style horizontal)
• Handle colour correction, audio clean-up, captions/subtitles, and basic motion graphics where needed
• Deliver fast, repeatable output without sacrificing quality
3) AI-enabled workflow (speed matters)
We want someone who uses AI properly, or at the very least is eager to learn to work with tools to speed up editing and production (e.g., rough cuts, transcription, captions, selects, versioning)
- Improve turnaround time and consistency across content batches
- Bring a practical point of view: what actually saves time vs what’s gimmicky
4) Posting & distribution (you’ll ship the work)
• Publish content across Minisport’s social platforms in line with the weekly plan
• Upload and manage content on the Minisport app (including timely updates and promotional assets)
• Track what’s going out, what’s performing, and what needs iterating
5) Personal brand content (leader-led marketing)
• Help capture and shape personal brand content for Minisport’s leader (documenting, not “influencing”)
• Support podcast-style content: setup, audio, multi-cam filming, and post-production
• Turn long-form recordings into short-form highlights and story-driven clips
6) Sales enablement support
• Liaise with the Sales team to supply the right promotional footage at the right time
• Create and deliver short, usable clips that support campaigns, partnerships, and franchise conversations
• Keep a simple, organised library so the team can find what they need fast
7) Collaboration & creative input
• Work closely with the marketing team to plan content that supports campaigns and growth goals
• Bring ideas — we want someone who contributes creatively, not someone who just follows a checklist
• Take feedback well, iterate quickly, and keep standards high
What we’re looking for
Must-haves
• Proven videography experience (shooting + editing) with a portfolio/demo reel
• Strong technical fundamentals: framing, lighting, composition, and clean audio
• Proficiency with editing tools
• Strong organisation: file naming, version control, backups, and delivery discipline
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
Big advantages
• Strong storytelling instincts (you can make “normal” moments feel compelling)
• Comfortable being on-site, meeting people, and building relationships quickly
• Experience documenting personal brands (founders/leaders), including podcast production an advantage
Working style & schedule
• Hong Kong-based
• Occasional weekend work required (classes/events are often on weekends), this will be offset by weekdays off in lieu
• Fast-paced environment — you’ll be expected to move quickly and deliver consistently
