Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Job summary: Lead cybersecurity projects, perform security assessments, and develop security solutions. Key responsibilities include leading projects, identifying vulnerabilities, designing security solutions, conducting audits, and providing guidance to team members. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, knowledge of ISO 27001, and strong understanding of network security and security assessment tools.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead cybersecurity projects from start to finish.
• Perform security assessments and identify vulnerabilities.
• Design and implement security solutions to protect against cyber threats.
• Conduct ISO 27001 audits and ensure compliance with the standard.
• Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing.
• Maintain database security, administration and access controls.
• Provide guidance and training to other team members on security best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years experience or above in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 and IT security policies and procedures.
• Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Experience with security assessment and penetration testing tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
