Responsibilities
• Configure, operate and maintain the storage and data backup infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain storage and data backup infrastructure policy, standards and procedures to align with industry standards, frameworks and good practices.
• Collaborate with storage and data backup infrastructure suppliers, to ensure their quality of service align with agreed SLA.
• Maintain good performance and stability on storage & data backup infrastructure.
• Monitor and analyze technical infrastructure events and alerts; identify and respond to infrastructure related risks, incidents and breaches.
• Design, build, and test complex data recovery, migration, and contingency plans.
• Provide 7 x 24 on-call support for emergency production incidents and on-site support for fire-fighting.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years’ hands-on experience in supporting storage devices (e.g. Huawei, Hitachi, EMC), backup tools (e.g. Netbackup).
• Able to manage vendors to perform project implementation and BAU supports
• Stay up-to-date with the latest storage & backup technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
• Self-motivated and willing to work under pressure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information effectively.
• Good command in both written and spoken Chinese and English, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
• Experience working with financial industry and understand the technical architecture of banking systems is preferred.
