Client is one of the well-established global investment bank looking to reachitect their fixed income trading application which includes both cash securities and fixed income OTC derivatives.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate the effectiveness along with potential risk and issues of current fixed income system being used for calculation of Risk and PL of fixed income derivatives and cash fixed income securities.
• Identify the challenges associated with current fixed income systems and underlying technology / architecture.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations and business team to understand their needs and requirement.
• Assess various technologies and platforms to determine the most suitable options for the solution, considering factors such as cost, performance, and compatibility.
• Produce a roadmap/plan for a re-architecture of their Fixed Income system landscape.
SKILLS
Must have
• 15+ years pf overall experience out of which 6+ years as Solution Architect in the fixed income space within an Investment bank.
• Strong understanding of Investment Bank technology infrastructure, data management, and business flows
• In-depth knowledge of Fixed Income business flows involving OTC Interest rates derivatives and Cash FI securities.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects involving cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration between IT, Front office, Operations, Risk and finance.
• Exceptional technical acumen, with experience in modern technology stacks, cloud-based solutions, and API-driven architectures.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical skills, requirements gathering, planning, budgeting and streamlining capabilities.
Nice to have
• Prior Experience around Murex, Orchestrade, Calypso, Summit etc
• Prior experience of working with Japanese client
