Data Scientist (Python, AI) ~ Regional Exposure, 40-60K

About The Client

Our client is a well-established multinational group and they are looking for a Data Scientist to join their data team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions and will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Description
• Participate in advanced analytic projects with cross-functional teams in APAC region to enhance overall business operation effectiveness and efficiency
• Utilize big data and data analytics techniques to extract, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop strategies to meet their needs
• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and AI integration to optimize processes and drive business insight
• Create data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Work with internal data team to deploy complex and large amount of data across different channels and platforms, in order to provide advanced analytic support and insight
• Work with business units to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree holder in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other related disciplines
• 4-6 years of experience in data analytics and machine learning with proven track record of leveraging large amount of data, preferably working in supply chain, logistic or manufacturing industries
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Spark, and SQL, as well as libraries like Pandas and Scikit-learn
• Familiar in using data visualization tools e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management, good at storytelling and the ability to translate complex data findings into actional insights
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI and machine learning techniques into business processes is an absolute advantage

• Good command in English and Chinese (Fluent in Mandarin speaking)
