Job Duties
• Hands-on system development for web-based (H5) applications;
• Perform requirement analysis and translate business requirements into technical design using formal methods or object-oriented paradigm;
• Execute project in accordance with the agreed project plan. Take corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery;
• Oversee development of test specifications for software components. Manage execution of test cases to ensure software quality;
• Oversee unit testing and system testing. Document test results for deployment;
• Design, implement and manage fully automated CI/CD pipeline to support build, test and deployment processes;
• Ensure source code version control, branching strategy and release management are properly maintained;
• Utilize modern development toolchains and AI-assisted coding solutions to enhance software quality, maintainability, and development efficiency;
• Execute system development and change activities within applicable IT procedures and governance framework;
• Design and develop workflow systems, approval mechanisms, dashboards and internal efficiency enhancement tools;
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to user departments in project execution, ensuring users fulfil roles such as product owner and testers;
• Partner with fellow IT Teams and external vendors to deliver project outcomes in a cooperative manner;
• Handle user queries and service requests related to application support and maintenance; and
• Provide ongoing enhancement, performance optimisation and system reliability improvement for internally developed systems.

Requirements
• 3—6 years of relevant IT system development experience preferred;
• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Able to work independently to meet project deadlines and deliver within agreed scope;
• Good command of Cantonese and English;
• Development experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Vue / React or equivalent);
• Backend development experience in NodeJS / PHP / Java or equivalent technologies;
• Experience in SQL Server, MySQL or equivalent relational databases;
• Operation-level skills in Windows and Linux environments;
• Experience in RESTful API development and system integration;
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD automation, version control (e.g., Git), and deployment pipeline management;
• Hands-on experience with modern IDEs, automated code analysis tools, and AI-assisted development environments;
• Familiar with testing tools and automated testing frameworks;
• Proven application development and support experience in operational or mission-critical systems preferred;
• Experience managing vendor-based development preferable; and
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with all levels of the organization.
