Senior Operations Associate

Our client, a reputable global hedge fund, is looking for a high calibre candidate to join their operations team as a senior operations associate to support their APAC operations.

Responsibilities:
• Manage daily issue resolution for breaks and reconciliation queries for all funds.
• Review daily cash, transactions and positions reconciliation.
• Manage trade bookings and full trade life cycle of the positions.
• Act as a focal point for resolution and operational issues with internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with the Execution Brokers, Prime Brokers and Fund Administrators.
• Participate in regular meetings/ calls with service provider to resolve outstanding breaks.

Requirements:
• University graduated in Finance, Business Administration and relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in buyside operations.
• Experience leading ad-hoc projects from start to finish.
• Excellent product knowledge on Bonds, IRS, FX, Options, Equities, Futures.
• Experience in process improvement for reduction of errors and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinse.
