Entry-Level Front-End Developer/ Programmer

Job Type: Full Time (open to Part-Timers for Final Year Undergrads or Postgraduate Students with Relevant Industry Experience)

Work Location: Grade A Offices in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island, or Qianhai, Shenzhen

Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of frontend features using React and TypeScript
• Build and enhance UI components under guidance from senior engineers
• Integrate frontend components with backend REST APIs
• Use data-fetching tools (e.g. TanStack Query) to handle server state, loading, and error states
• Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces
• Assist in debugging UI, performance, and browser-related issues
• Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality
• Follow established frontend standards and development workflows

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or programming intensive courses
• 1 year of relevant working experience and a Fresh graduate is welcome
• Basic to intermediate experience with React and TypeScript (projects, internships, or coursework acceptable)
• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS
• Experience integrating REST APIs into front-end applications
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Strong willingness to learn, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
• Experience with TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, or Ant Design is advantageous
• Basic understanding of backend concepts and data models is advantageous
• Familiarity with testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library) is advantageous
• Exposure to performance optimization, debugging tools, or UNIX/Linux command line is advantageous

The role will be based in Hong Kong, with occasional opportunities to travel to deployment sites overseas or in Mainland China.

Remuneration will be commensurate on work experience and/or performance. There will be a 30-day probation period, which may include a short project, or problem set to test proficiency.

Pay: From $12,000.00 per month
