SENIOR EQUITY IT SYSTEM DEVELOPER (C# / JAVA) – Leading Brokerage

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop in-house systems, plan and perform unit / functional / integration tests, according to functional requirement
• Create necessary development documents, test plan and test results
• Perform analysis, development, testing and implementation of developed system
• Working with the 1st level support team to provide 2nd line support, and work closely with other internal IT teams (e.g. DBA, Infrastructure) to analyze and follow up on all related technical issues, report findings to management
• Key application developer for front-office Fidessa / Ullink trading application, Bloomberg/Reuters instrument static data system, database (e.g. SQL Server), SSIS and Linux job development and Excel tools
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis on possible system solutions and propose clear choices for business consideration
• Work with regional offices for regional IT changes

REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree educated
• 5+ years working experience in Investment Banking or Securities Trading industry with relevant exposure to development and support
• Equity Trading and Middle / Back-Office operation business knowledge
• Good working knowledge with C#/Java, Linux, Shell scripting, Excel VBA, SQL
• English and Cantonese
