Headquartered in Singapore with offices in Hong Kong and Dubai, the firm operates with a deeply technology-centric culture, investing substantially in the development of its proprietary, in-house technology.
About this role

They are building their core trading technology stack from scratch. This is a unique opportunity to develop a high-performance, in-house Order Management System (OMS) that will become the mission-critical system of their global trading operations.
Responsibilities
• Design, build, and optimize the firm’s proprietary Order Management System (OMS) to handle global multi-asset real-time position keeping, risk, and pricing, etc.
• Write clean, scalable, and testable code to implement smart order routing logic, market data integration, and liquidity analysis tooling.
• Collaborate closely with front-office stakeholders to translate business needs into elegant technical solutions.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and correctness in a low-latency, high-throughput production environment.
• Contribute to the broader technology roadmap, helping shape best practices in software architecture, testing, and deployment.
Requirements
• 4–10 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building an Order Management System.
• Development experience in a buy-side or sell-side environment (e.g., hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, investment bank).
• Proficiency in one or more systems programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python, C++). Practical experience or a strong willingness to work extensively with Python and Rust is required.
• Familiarity with reference data (security mastering, corporate actions, static data pipelines) is a strong plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited by the challenge of building from the ground up.
