Key Responsibilities (Global Role Description, Regionally Executed)
1) Regional Sales Strategy: Develop annual/quarterly sales plans and KPIs for local academic, biotech and pharma segments; align with corporate strategy.
2) Customer Development & Relationship Management: Acquire new accounts and nurture long term relationships via conferences, KOL visits and distributor partnerships.
3) Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure and payment;
collaborate with technical and project-management teams on complex CDx projects.
4) Market Expansion: Establish local channel/agent networks and organize regional marketing events to increase brand penetration.
5) Data & Insights: Submit monthly pipeline, competitive landscape and pricing reports; maintain CRM in real time.
6) Competitive Intelligence: Monitor key competitors (e.g., Illumina, BGI, Macrogen) and rapidly craft
counter-strategies.
