Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Frontend / Web Developer Intern to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining engaging and responsive websites. The ideal candidate should be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and have experience with WordPress and Wix development tools.
Responsibilities:
• Work with our design team to create visually appealing and responsive websites using WordPress and Wix.
• Write clean and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Customize Wix templates and integrate third-party applications as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend functionality.
• Ensure websites are optimized for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across different browsers and devices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for websites.
Requirements:
• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science or related program.
• Familiarity with WordPress and Wix development tools.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with PHP and MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of web accessibility best practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
