Lead Enterprise Architecture – APAC

Up to HK$1,600,000 + Bonus & Excellent Benefits (Flexible)

Lead the architecture teams & agenda across Asia for a global insurance and fintech organisation scaling its digital, data and cloud capabilities. You will be asked to set the regional vision, shape global vs. local platform decisions, and steer multi-market transformation with a strong focus on regulatory alignment, customer experience and operational resilience.

You will operate across all architecture domains at an enterprise level with mastery of enterprise cloud, data, integration and security patterns within APAC regulatory constraints! (HKMA, MAS TRM, JFSA, AU CPS 234)

This is a leadership and strategy role however you must have enough technical depth to credibly challenge, defend and steer architects, vendors, regulators, and global teams!

THE ROLE:
• Lead architecture strategy that aligns global direction with APAC market needs.
• C-suite engagement on investment priorities, platform choices and regulatory constraints.
• Roadmaps that balance global reuse with local delivery realities.
• Architectural oversight across digital, data and cloud programmes spanning multiple countries.
• Strong partnerships across product, business and technology to drive execution.
• Adoption of relevant APAC tech and regulatory trends while ensuring compliance and scale.
• Core platform modernisation
• Multi-domain architecture oversight: applications, data, integration, cloud, security
• Legacy decommissioning
• Regulatory change
• Cloud/digital uplift
• Regional market rollouts
• Cloud adoption across Azure and/or AWS

REQUIREMENTS:
• 15+ years in architecture within complex, regulated FS or multi-market environments.
• Deep understanding of APAC market dynamics and regulatory landscapes.
• Track record leading large, multi-country transformations.
• Strong stakeholder influence, crisp communication and commercial judgement.
• Ability to balance global standards with local market constraints.
• Operate across all architecture domains at an enterprise level
• Understand cloud, data, integration and security patterns
• Navigate APAC regulatory constraints
• Make global/platform decisions with C-suite stakeholders
• Lead multi-country technology transformation
• Translate business/regulatory requirements into architectural direction
