DevOps Engineer, Banking IT (HK$50K - $60K+)

Our client, a Retail Bank, is looking for high-calibre person to fill the position.
Job Duties
• DevSecOps Implementation : Lead the implementation of DevSecOps solutions to enhance security within the development lifecycle.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development : Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery.
• Tool Maintenance : Administer and manage DevSecOps and Agile tools that support the CI/CD operating model effectively.
• Container Management : Oversee the management of container images and deployment configurations to streamline deployment processes.
Job Requirements
• Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional Experience : Minimum of 3 years in IT, with at least 1 year focused on DevSecOps or DevOps roles.
• Tool Proficiency : Experience installing, maintaining, updating, and administering DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, and GitLab.
• Scripting Skills : Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Groovy for automating deployment tasks.
• Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with microservices, APIs, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.
• Java Development Knowledge (preferable) : Understanding of Java development processes, including source control and Maven builds.
• Additional Skills (Preferred):
• Experience with security tools (e.g., Fortify SCA, WebInspect, Trufflehog, Black Duck).
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium, JMeter).
• Experience in container image hardening and addressing image vulnerabilities.
• Understanding of LDAP, ADFS, SSO, and related technologies.
• Experience in microservice development (e.g., Spring Boot).
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools like ArgoCD is advantageous.
• Experience in regulated environments with established change management processes is preferred.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, particularly under pressure during deployment challenges.
• Personal Attributes : Self-motivated with an open mindset; demonstrates ownership and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
• Language Proficiency : Fluent in both Chinese and English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
