What We Need
• Produce short, engaging Instagram Reels and social media videos showcasing our community activities, store vibes, workshops, and events at the Monster Building (Quarry Bay) location and our new Central store
• Commit to an initial 3-month pilot (2–4 videos per month) to boost visibility and community connection
• Capture and edit short-form videos (15–60 seconds Reels/TikToks) featuring store highlights, behind-the-scenes at events/workshops, product showcases (e.g., design items, sustainable goods), participant stories, and festive moments at both locations.
• Film on-site at Monster Building (Quarry Bay) and the new Central store (starting mid-March 2026) — flexible scheduling around your availability (e.g., weekends/evenings, 1–2 visits per month)
• Create engaging content with captions, music, text overlays, and trends to promote upcoming events, openings, and community impact
Background
UrbanRoom.Social has been a vibrant community space at Quarry Bay's Monster Building for 2+ years, hosting workshops, talks, reading clubs, storytelling, and festive events — all unfunded and supported by our business. We're keeping the Monster Building store active while opening a new location in Central (soft opening March 20, 2026; grand opening March 28, 2026) to reach professionals, arts lovers, illustrators, artists, and the local community with more design, art, and shared experiences.
What We Have
• Access to both locations for filming (Monster Building now; Central from mid-March 2026) — entry details shared after confirmation.- Briefing call + WhatsApp group: Quick intro call with Carrie and ongoing chat for ideas, calendar access, and feedback.- Content guidelines & inspiration: Brand colors, key messages, event calendar, past Reels examples, and music/caption suggestions.

What We Do
UrbanRoom.Social is a Hong Kong–based community platform that explores how art, design, and everyday cultural practices can strengthen neighbourhood life. Rooted in place-based engagement, UrbanRoom.Social develops small-scale programmes that encourage observation, dialogue, and participation in shared urban spaces. In 2026, UrbanRoom.Social and Small World Foundation Limited began a strategic partnership to co-design and deliver community programmes for families and children. Through workshops, learning activities, and participatory events, the two organisations aim to use art, storytelling, and experiential learning to support intergenerational connection and community wellbeing. This partnership brings together UrbanRoom.Social’s experience in spatial practice, community design, and cultural facilitation with Small World Foundation Limited’s focus on family-oriented and child-centred engagement. Together, the organisations seek to create inclusive and accessible opportunities for the public to engage meaningfully with their neighbourhoods and with one another.
