Requirement details: Requirement -Automation EngineerLocation- Hongkong NationalityAny nationality with a valid work visa of HK. No language constraint.Experience-5+ years 1. Job Title: Test Engineer (Manual and Automation) Responsibilities:· Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for workloads migrated from vSphere to OpenShift.· Validate the functionality of applications and services in the OpenShift environment.· Design and execute test cases for all aspects of the migration, including networking, storage, and application behaviour.· Automate test cases using tools like Selenium, Python, or OpenShift CLI (oc commands).· Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, and migration teams to identify and resolve issues.· Document test plans, test cases, and results for future reference. Skills Required:· Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression, etc.).· Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework).· Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).· Familiarity with OpenShift and Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, etc.).· Basic knowledge of Linux commands and shell scripting.· Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 2. Job Title: Automation Engineer (Test Automation Specialist) Responsibilities:· Automate end-to-end test cases for the migration process using tools like Python, Ansible, or OpenShift CLI.· Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for OpenShift workloads.· Automate the validation of resource utilization, application performance, and scalability.· Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.· Ensure that automated tests are reusable, scalable, and maintainable. Skills Required:· Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Go.· Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework).· Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).· Hands-on experience with OpenShift CLI (oc commands) and Kubernetes APIs.· Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).· Familiarity with containerization and orchestration concepts.· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
