We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, Social Media to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about travel and technology, with a proven track record in developing and executing digital and social marketing strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and e-commerce transactions with marketplace and partnership.
In this role, you will be the engine of our social presence, managing the day-to-day execution of campaigns.
You will develop the content plan and maintain a vibrant, engaging community across all global channels, working hands-on with creators to ensure our feed is driving traffic to the App.
Execute the global social media strategy for Smart Traveller across key platforms, ensuring consistent storytelling, brand voice and visual identity.
Manage day-to-day operations of Smart Traveller social accounts (content scheduling, posting, moderation, community engagement, responses and escalation).
Develop and maintain social content calendars (always-on, campaigns, seasonal and partner activities) in alignment with Digital Marketing, CRM and commercial plans.
Produce and/or coordinate creation of engaging content (posts, short videos, stories, carousels, UGC, live sessions), including copywriting and basic editing.
Support planning and execution of paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, creative variations, tracking links and performance checks.
Monitor and report social performance using analytics tools; provide insights and recommendations to optimise content, posting times and formats for better reach, engagement and conversion.
Work closely with Customer Service and CRM to manage community interactions, respond to member queries, track sentiment and support social care and issue management.
Assist Senior Manager in identifying and coordinating with KOLs/influencers and partners for co-branded campaigns and content collaborations.
Coordinate with internal creative, brand and product teams to ensure assets are on-brand, accurate and aligned with campaign objectives.
Maintain content and asset libraries, ensuring proper tagging, usage rights and version control for global and local use.
Contribute to social media SOPs, playbooks and training support for regional teams where required.
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related fields.
Minimum 4–6 years' hands-on experience in social media management, preferably with regional exposure and within travel, hospitality, aviation, lifestyle or e-commerce sectors.
Demonstrated success in growing social communities, improving engagement and supporting performance-driven campaigns.
Proficiency with major social platforms and tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Youtube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, WeChat/RED, social scheduling and social listening tools).
Strong copywriting skills in English and experience creating social-first visual content with designers or using basic editing tools.
Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages such as Mandarin, Portuguese or French are a plus.
Passion for travel and lifestyle, with curiosity about different cultures and traveller behaviours.
Highly organised, strong time-management skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
Collaborative team player who is comfortable working cross-functionally and across markets.
Agile and adaptable, comfortable in a fast-moving, start-up-like environment within a global group; willingness to travel occasionally if required.
