Title:
Senior Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage LAN/WAN networks, ensuring connectivity across all data centers, sites, and extranets within the APAC region.
Support and manage SD-WAN, routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points throughout infrastructure project implementation phases.
Manage external vendors, including carriers, for business-as-usual (BAU) project requirements.
Serve as the escalation point for all network operations issues within the organization.
Identify and implement solutions to resolve incidents in line with service level agreements.
Provide technical support to domains, market teams, and other users.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of network assets, patch information, network diagrams, system requests, and documented processes for operations and maintenance.
Functional / Technical Expertise
Deep knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP.

Technical expertise in VPN gateways, intrusion detection/protection systems, wireless controllers, access points, routers, switches, proxies, firewalls, and load balancers in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, and others).
Experience in network operations, support, and troubleshooting.
Ability to design, implement, and administer network infrastructure devices.
Familiarity with unified communications tools and mobile telephony solutions is a plus.
Proficiency with network management tools such as monitoring software, configuration management software, and performance analysis tools.

Additional Responsibilities
Non-Technical
Handle RFQs and communications between service providers (carriers) and market teams.
Update documentation (e.g., site inventory, site codes).
Provide BAU support and coordination for site openings, renovations, and relocations.
Assist the Network Operations Manager with incident handling, particularly P1 cases.
Collaborate effectively with managed vendors.
Technical
Strong experience in routing and switching (mandatory).
Strong experience in wireless technologies (Wi-Fi configuration, surveys, troubleshooting); Cisco Wireless experience is highly preferred.

Experience with Fortinet firewalls is highly preferred (strong experience with Palo Alto, Checkpoint, or Cisco firewalls will also be considered).
Experience with Fortinet SD-WAN is a plus

Experience required
5+ years of experience supporting network infrastructure; experience in the luxury or retail industry is advantageous.
3+ years of experience in Telco, system integrator, or vendor environments.
Solid experience in network administration, including network revamps, wireless networks, LAN, WAN, and VPN.
Experience with cloud networking is a plus.
Experience in SD-WAN design and deployment is a plus.
Strong background in wireless networking is highly desirable.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and languages.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
