We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as an Infrastructure Engineer. Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire spectrum of IT operations, including software deployment, system maintenance, and end-user support.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate smooth software development and deployment processes, embodying modern DevOps practices.
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles to automate system configuration and scaling, enhancing operational efficiency.
• Provide technical support to colleagues, ensuring hardware, software, and network issues are promptly resolved to maintain a productive work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security best practices, ensuring robust system integrity.
• Oversee cloud services and resources, harnessing DevOps methodologies for optimized efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, and user access, contributing to organized inventory management.
• Utilize your strong working knowledge in VMs, networking, and repository management to optimize system functionality.
• Monitor system performance and swiftly troubleshoot any emerging problems to uphold high availability, a critical aspect of DevOps.
• Proactively diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, utilizing your expertise to interpret logs and diagnose the root cause of problems.
• Provide hands-on support during critical system incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
Additional Requirements:
Proficient English and Mandarin communication skills are essential, as effective communication is crucial for collaborating with our diverse team and contributing to our global work environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated proficiency in both System Administration and DevOps practices.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and system tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for end-user devices.
• Solid grasp of networking principles and protocols, including DNS.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for system and application performance.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, showcasing a strong foundation in IT operations and DevOps practices.
• Relevant certifications in System Administration and DevOps practices are a plus.
