Responsibilities (Work location: Lai Chi Kok)
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and fellow designers to uncover and drive new design opportunities, connecting user needs with business goals.
Develop, implement, and continually improve design processes to support rapid iteration and high-impact releases.
Employ design thinking methodologies to deliver globally relevant, user-friendly solutions.
Engage in design reviews, contributing expert insights and actionable suggestions.
Own the end-to-end design process: identifying opportunities, setting the vision, and partnering with the engineering team to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.
Work cross-functionally with the broader design team for seamless product experiences.
Conduct user research, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative methods to inform design decisions and drive impactful solutions with the product team.
Produce detailed, robust UI/UX designs and directly collaborate with the engineering team to guarantee the highest product quality.
Develop clear rationale for design choices and articulate perspectives effectively.
Requirements
5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with demonstrated proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI/UX, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetic judgment—and a clear understanding of how these impact product usability.
Proficient in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Figma, etc. Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools (e.g., Comfy UI, Stable Diffusion) is a strong plus.
Experience conducting user research to inform product decisions.
Strong sense of aesthetics and creativity with solid understanding of brand design principles and ability to adapt to diverse styles.
Be able to work in fast-paced, agile environments with rapid iteration cycles.
Prior experience designing for Blockchain, Cryptocurrency or Financial products.
Nice to Have
Education background in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related fields.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design skills for web and mobile.
Team player attitude, open to feedback and committed to continuous learning.
Cantonese/English/Mandarin required to coordinate with global partners and stakeholders.
