The Opportunity:This is a rare opportunity to join the core team of a market-leading firm during its strategic expansion in Hong Kong. As one of our key local experts, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our growth, driving technical excellence on high-profile projects, and building our long-term presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the design process for civil, highway, or drainage engineering projects, ensuring compliance with Hong Kong's codes of practice and standards.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including international partners, clients, and government authorities.
· Prepare technical submissions, reports, and project documentation.
· Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
· Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and client engagement.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Essential: Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) in the Civil Discipline, OR Corporate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
· A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in the design and management of civil infrastructure, highway, or drainage projects in Hong Kong.
· In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong's design standards, regulatory requirements, and submission procedures.
· Proven track record of working on projects for government clients (e.g., CEDD, HyD, DSD) is highly desirable.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in English and Cantonese is essential. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
