Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager for long-term expatriation to Mainland China, responsible for business development initiatives across major first-tier cities including Shanghai, Beijing, and others. Ideal candidates will possess professional experience in sectors such as technology, finance, or other high-income industries, providing valuable connections to client resources specifically within first-tier Mainland Chinese cities. Candidates must be open to long-term business development assignments in Mainland China’s first-tier cities. The position involves developing strategic partnerships, driving student recruitment from international schools, and connecting families interested in pursuing educational opportunities in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives targeting international schools and eligible families across Shanghai, Beijing, and other first-tier cities.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with international schools, educational institutions, and key stakeholders in target cities.
- Identify and engage with parents and students interested in exploring educational pathways in Hong Kong.
- Drive enrollment growth by effectively introducing our company's training programs and educational offerings.
- Understand and stay current with global educational trends, international education practices, and innovative AI-driven education solutions.
- Act as the primary liaison between Mainland-based international schools and our Hong Kong operations, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized institution (C9 or above).
- Proven experience in business development, partnership management, with strong relationships and client networks specifically in Mainland China's first-tier cities across at least two high-performing sectors such as education, technology, finance, or similar high-income industries.
- Strong existing relationships or familiarity with the international school network across major Mainland cities, especially Shanghai and Beijing.
- Solid understanding of current trends in international education and innovative educational methodologies, including AI applications in education.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal, with professional proficiency.
- Must be open to long-term business development assignments in Mainland China's first-tier cities.
- In-depth understanding of Mainland China's education system.
