Product Manager, Asset Management

Job Responsibilities
• Junior member of the Asset Management Product Team, supporting existing team members in setup process by managing product initiatives by liaising across various business units including investment team, risk and compliance team, sales & marketing team, and any external service providers, to ensure successful product launches and maintain ongoing product management. Especially in Hong Kong Authorized Funds, Cayman Funds, Discretionary Managed Accounts and other investment structures
• Continually update knowledge of industry standards and developments especially regulatory changes which impact product launches or existing product range and communicate internally
• Familiar with the asset management ecosystem and regulatory environment in Hong Kong
• Assist in empowering the sales team with the knowledge and support necessary to fully understand asset management offerings
• Collaborate with asset management operations to handle investor account opening KYC/AML procedures and client information management

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above in finance, economics, or related fields
• At least 1-3 years of product management experience in Asset Management Industry. Comprehensive understanding of asset management, including Authorized fund and Cayman fund structures, Discretionary Managed Account, market participants, transaction lifecycle
• Familiar with cost control and issuance procedures for fund products
• Detail-oriented, highly responsible, strong logical analysis and problem-solving skills, continuous learning mindset, and excellent execution.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills in dealing with different level of staff
• Fluent in written and oral communication skills in both Chinese (especially Mandarin) and English
• Candidate with CPA, CFA, or FRM certifications is preferred
